In 1998, a small group of people from North Carolina began making mission trips to an area of Nicaragua that was hit hard by Hurricane "Mitch". Today we are joined in united purpose by individuals and families through out the United States with the goal of making a true difference in the quality of life for the people of Nicaragua.

These rugged "Nicas" are people who, in their words, "know how to suffer". They have lived through hurricanes, landslides, droughts, floods, volcanic eruptions, bloody dictatorships, and the Sandinistan war.

Through this web site you can learn of the life of these strong, friendly, spirit filled people, their challenges and their hopes. You will also learn of our hopes to bring an end to the suffering they are currently enduring.

Join us now and learn of our Vision to bring a better life for the deserving people of Nicaragua.

Vision Nicaragua is now accepting donations of your frequent flyer miles.
These are used to help offset the costs of the missionaries who visit often, as well as to assist those who would otherwise be unable to afford the trip. Please email inquire@visionnicaragua.org for more details, tax deductible information, and instructions. Thank you for your generosity!
